About Our Ministry

The Meeting Place Prayer Ministry, Inc. is a Christ-centered ministry built on the foundation of prayer, faith, love, and the Word of God.
We believe that prayer is more than a religious practice—it is our connection to God, our source of strength, and a powerful weapon in the life of every believer. The Meeting Place was established to create a safe and welcoming place where people can come together, seek God’s presence, pray for one another, and experience the transforming power of Jesus Christ.
Our ministry is for every person who is hungry for God, in need of prayer, searching for hope, or simply longing to draw closer to Him. No matter where you have been, what you have experienced, or how many mistakes you have made, God can still choose you, restore you, and use your life for His glory.
We stand in the gap for families, marriages, children, communities, churches, leaders, the hurting, the broken, and those who may not yet know Christ. When God’s people come together in prayer, heaven hears us.
Our heart is to encourage, equip, empower, and strengthen people through prayer and God’s Word. We desire to see lives healed, families restored, faith renewed, purpose discovered, and people transformed by the presence of God.

Servant Leaders Tammy and Lanard Duncan are the devoted leaders and founders of The Meeting Place Prayer Ministry, Inc. Together, they answered the call to serve God and His people, creating a place where individuals can seek God, find encouragement, receive prayer, and grow deeper in their relationship with Christ.

Their journey is a testimony that God can use imperfect people for His perfect purpose. Our past does not disqualify us from God’s calling. When God calls, He equips, restores, and gives us grace to fulfill the assignment.
They are passionate about seeing lives transformed through prayer and believe that prayer changes things, prayer changes people, and prayer changes circumstances.
